one year of great friendship

Time flies when you’re having fun! And I totally agree, yes! Miki, joko and I are celebrating ONE year of good friendship! We met a year ago at Eastwood, Libis – well, joko and miki are supposed to meet up but joko’s running late from her (ahem!) DATE!! (yes a date with 6 guys!) So she let me met up with miki first and then the three of us meet after the said DATE…and the rest was history. The three of us have different interests but still have a remarkable bond and incredible friendship. There are some arguments, misunderstanding, mood swings, love problems, road trip and psycho bitches but we survived them all and looking forward to more year of friendship (and more psycho bitches! – hahaha!)

Michaela and Joanna, you know that I’ll try my best to always be there for you guys – rain or shine, in good times or bad, in manila or elsewhere! Thank you for everything – for always making me laugh, for the chikas, for the out of this world info, new vocabularies, EVERYTHING! i'm sadden with the death of 32 people in the virginia tech shoot out and heres hoping that walang makakuha ng bright idea at mamaril din ng walang dahilan dito sa pinas. i'm also sad with the death of u.s. peace corps volunteer, julia campbell in banaue. her death will reflect how bad life is here in our beloved country - crimes, poverty, corruption and the list goes on. really sad :(, now tourism in banaue are affected and i bet some people in the u.s. hates us. ho-hum.

after ababu we headed of to tia maria's malate to watch cueshe! chicka chicka with the boys plus myke sarthou. whee! fun lang kase it's been a while din since i last watched them. as always camwhores kami to the highest level at saka pasaway sa pag-sing along with cueshe! mwahaha! ang saya as usual! we also bonded with tipay! cute kid with pamatay dance moves - i'm guessing si fritz talaga ang nagturo ng dance moves ni tipay eh...very fritz eh! mwahahha! (sige i-kembot, sige i-kembot all all around...)

went home at around 3AM -thank you joko for bringing me home safely!

miki and i were chatting via msn yesterday - yes, about bora and how much fun we had!
miki said she thinks bora has some kind of magic because even if you have tons
of problems once you step into the island - you forget about them.
she noticed as well how we just laugh and laugh and laugh when we're in bora,
and how easy it is to bond with friends.

part of me agrees with miki, i haven't seen my friends so happy,
giddy, funny and caring until bora. bonding to the highest level!

anyhow, i realized a lot of things at bora and it's looking good.

hopefully, everything will be okay not just for me but for my

friends as well. no wonder we all want to stay sa isla na yun, anything can

happen kase - pwedeng gawin ang mga hindi nagagawa sa maynila!

summer get away...away...away...

we left bora with a heavy heart, i don't have an idea how i dragged miki out of our room last sunday but she sure did rode the plane back to manila. as fate would have it i was seated beside a nun on our way back home - actually miki's supposed to be seated beside the nun but she beat me to the window seat and since i'm an angel i gave in. anyways, the ride back home was fun - miki and i keep reminiscing about the good times we had at bora, we laughed at the silliest hirits that we heard during our stay at the beautiful island and we took our time getting out of the plane and getting our things - we are not in a hurry to get back to REALITY.

our vacation is one of the best trip i had - it's a much needed relaxation.

last week was action packed, so this will be a long post...bear with me please.

got an early monday morning text from ace, the life of a celebrity and all its dilemmas. (kill the bitch) - i'm turning into a warfreak na talaga! (damn those psychos!)

a psycho weirdo wrote a testimonial and what she wrote is not nice, hence i started a war.

they made it to ana's territory and it's nothing but good news. yes! A&O! finally a couple?

a new enemy surfaced by the name of XYZA (a really gay username, ahem!) her mission? say nasty things about miki and her so-called thing with a vocalist-rockstar. my reaction? really old news and very stalkerish siya (and very gay too!)

moving on....

my family (tita, cousins and all) went out and did this bonding thing at atc last wednesday, we need to entertain ate nory and boost up jobert's morale and push him to leave the country and settle down in U.S. despite his crazy antics of i don't want to go, i wanna stay in manila thing. (it worked, now he's in philadelphia eating krispy kreme and shopping at walmart!)

i went to cueshe's morato gig last thursday with my favorite gals miki and joko, as always it was fun and panalo ang jamming thing ng cue with emerge and wency cornejo! (yes! we are next in line!) before the night is through, i found out that the issue was still an issue and i still insisted that it's not true. not at all! (disclaim it ace! hahaha!)

saturday morning, i got a text from someone unexpected! MECCA was texting me! (yes, mecca from the forum) she was talking (texting rather) in riddles, i can't figure out why she was texting me and sending me numbers of people who got issues with the band. i kinda sensed that she wants me to fix things but the thing is i don't know most of the people on the list and no idea either of what their issues are and i ain't no bouncer! hahaha! warfreak toh not peacemaker - just kidding! it's confusing.

miki and i have a new friend - katie! (yes the brit girl!) never thought we'd be friends with her because of the thing in the past but it feels good and it's all cool. ironic but it rocks (i can't wait to see ***'s face!) or maybe not just his face - everybody's face and reaction. hmmmm.....

we finally talked. it was til 6am in the morning. it was a good talk. a good talk. (thanks to sun cell! - sorry globe, don't cry i still love you!) part of me believed him and know that what he wants to happen will benefit all of them in the future.

it ain't over til it's over...

we did our sunday family dinner at paquito mas in westgate, (good food! - yummy!) while having dinner somebody called me, it registered on my missed call - unknown number. i texted the number and asked for some identification plus apologized for missing the call. the number replied and i was shocked to find out who called me, it was his mom.

i don't have the slightest idea as to why his mom was calling me, really got nervous and a bit puzzled, i don't deal with parentals that much. anyhow, i returned her call, we talked and it was a good call actually. a really good call - sweet actually! (very sweet!). he's so lucky to have a mom like her and i'm happy that good boy na daw siya ngayon! (dapat lang!)

i'm still proud that i said NO, even if he is claiming the opposite. what i felt about finding out that he said what he said? extremely disappointed, sad and i felt violated as well. it's a good thing that my friends knows that truth and i hope that they don't believe him (i'm not sure sino mga pinagsabihan niya but i hope they can rationalize what's the truth and what's not)

was not able to sleep after the long talk we had. not just because i found out things (and my head is aching from too much information) but also because i expected more from them (and him). somehow i'm not surprise to learn the truth because i'am aware of some of the bad decisions that he has made in his life but i tried to still embrace him and accept the fact that nobody's perfect but we have a choice and he made a choice.

you cannot please everybody and happiness is a choice.

nothing has changed, they are still my friends and i still love them.

you can't be negative all your life otherwise you will really suffer. you cannot claim glory that is not even yours to start with, you must learn to give without asking for anything in return and help without being boastful. learn to appreciate things around you and the people you are with so that they will also learn to appreciate your existence.

ZONG TIME. ate dinner at zong alabang with chucky, micky and jocky. best foursome! super laugh trip on the way to alabang, joko and i listened to britney's greatest hit's album and i don't know what's up with me and joko pero tawa kami ng tawa. weird.

i love zong's pan fried chicken encrusted in salted egg. yummy! funny because it's chuck's favorite at zong as well so we ordered to big bowl of it but still naubos namin and it seems like if we have three bowls chuck can still finish it all. hahaha! we finished all our food except on slice of fried tofu. hehehe!

after dinner we went to chucks crib (aka future playboy mansion) at hillsborough, he toured us around his mansion and then we took some pics and made tambay at his house yosi area. we had this question and answer thing and its fun fun fun!! and then on the way home joko and i stopped for coffee at caltex alabang, browsed through cosmo and some other covers of mags. cosmo astrology thing rocks!

37 days til our bora trip and i'm so excited already that i want to pack up my stuffs. miki and i have been discussing last saturday the things that we need to bring/buy to make our bora trip so fun! well fun and we must look cute too. still trying to get that excess weight that miki and i gained the past weeks from eating too much. good luck to both of us.

i'm still thinking of how i can bring joko to bora:

1. i tried to tell her to quit her internship thingy at this 5 star hotel since she can always start again and find a better hotel (since this hotel lacks some kitchen equipments/utensils etc)

2. work 24 hours so that she can finish her 350hours internship requirement

3. take a leave on april 11-15 - i will get you a medical certificate!

4. if i can't find a way, i'll just kidnap joko! yes!

it was rolan's birthday yesterday and i don't have the slightest idea how old he is but its sad that miki told me about his b-day a bit late na. i wanted to buy him a cake with this message: you're turning me on, your turn me around, you turn my whole world upside down! miki said she would die if i did give rolan that cake - miki, if i had known earlier i would get him a cake with that message talaga! as in sa cake ko ilalagay! icing!

went to sixcyclemind's album launch at teatrino greenhills with joko (miki's is still @ hong kong!), met up with her at rockwell and then went to greenhills where we made it just in time to catch 6CM performance...there is this orchestra thingy and some sort of play and some surprise gimiks. i enjoyed their come to my window number because of the all star cast and i think its the first time that i saw them perform the song. it's still an all star cast - shining shimmering ang someone and i can say it's a sucessful launch! congrats 6cm and soupstar!

anyhoo, joko and i pigged out at grilla after the launch (we ate kare kare, adobo, enselada, calamares plus go nuts donuts) and met up chuck at terriyaki boy nearby. it was always fun to hang-out with joko and chuck -OMG! laughtrip talaga! we missed you kulot!

on the other hand, the best news of all...miki and i are going to bora! yes we are! yehey!! watch out coz here we come! hehehe! miki and i will be joined by ana and chuck and hopefully by joko (make it a 24hours shift dude!)

and so the countdown begins! 40 days till our bora trip! yes! yes! yes!

and 40 days to lose weight...whew!

my friends, family and other people knows that i spend about half of my life at work - hence making it my home away from home! i actually spend time at home only to sleep and when weekend comes around which sucks because i love my room but then i'm a workaholic gal! asus! (ahem, i hope my boss can read this! hahah!) anyways, since it's my 2nd home na, i try to put things that reminds me of the people i love and things that make me smile or laugh.

on my desk/cubicle: pictures of celebs i handled, a pic of 6cm, pic of miki with verses, a big lollipop from ayn, a teddy bear with magnet from marge, iloilo magnets and dinagyang magnet from ana, bacolod magnet from dan, bohol magnet from yolly, bora magnet from eli, haller sign thingy from chunchi, cueshe/human calendar from jeman, coca-cola magnet from someone in china, threesome traffic pic, fish magnet from ethel, cherry in a jar magnet from sheryl, my sony calendar from when i bought my cute baby pink cam, galera magnet from adette, our flowerscape flyer, stress ball from nikko, coca-cola glass from ayn, clock/ballpen holder from ideal people, halloween mask used in our treat or trick the previous year. etc! (sentimental ako eh!)

back to the best foot spa ever and the cheapest too! 1 1/2 hours of pure foot bliss for only 250 pesos - san ka pa? the chair is sooooo relaxing, the view is good and the foot spa/massge is awesome! babalik talaga ako ulet and i hope i could bring joko and miki with me for more girl bonding and para we could relax, i know my girlies will enjoy!

had a blast at UP fair! extremely hypher which i think is the effect of working too hard for the past week or lack of social thingymajig? but then we just saw each other last friday?! maybe because loveless ang valentines kaya hyper na lang! basta yun na yun!

miki and joko got stuck backstage while i got the chance to sneak out and go around the fair! di bale joko, UP alumni ka naman you've been to UP fair dozens of times na so hayaan mo na ako magliwaliw and miki busy ka naman kay grandpa so that's okay too! i love bamboo and hilera and spongecola din! my special child moment is funny! wuhoo! and our threesome banterings is awesome too! we also harassed different band member for pics! yehey!
