went to sixcyclemind's album launch at teatrino greenhills with joko (miki's is still @ hong kong!), met up with her at rockwell and then went to greenhills where we made it just in time to catch 6CM performance...there is this orchestra thingy and some sort of play and some surprise gimiks. i enjoyed their come to my window number because of the all star cast and i think its the first time that i saw them perform the song. it's still an all star cast - shining shimmering ang someone and i can say it's a sucessful launch! congrats 6cm and soupstar!

anyhoo, joko and i pigged out at grilla after the launch (we ate kare kare, adobo, enselada, calamares plus go nuts donuts) and met up chuck at terriyaki boy nearby. it was always fun to hang-out with joko and chuck -OMG! laughtrip talaga! we missed you kulot!

on the other hand, the best news of all...miki and i are going to bora! yes we are! yehey!! watch out coz here we come! hehehe! miki and i will be joined by ana and chuck and hopefully by joko (make it a 24hours shift dude!)

my friends, family and other people knows that i spend about half of my life at work - hence making it my home away from home! i actually spend time at home only to sleep and when weekend comes around which sucks because i love my room but then i'm a workaholic gal! asus! (ahem, i hope my boss can read this! hahah!) anyways, since it's my 2nd home na, i try to put things that reminds me of the people i love and things that make me smile or laugh.

(sentimental ako eh!)

back to the best foot spa ever and the cheapest too! 1 1/2 hours of pure foot bliss for only 250 pesos - san ka pa? the chair is sooooo relaxing, the view is good and the foot spa/massge is awesome! babalik talaga ako ulet and i hope i could bring joko and miki with me for more girl bonding and para we could relax, i know my girlies will enjoy!

miki and joko got stuck backstage while i got the chance to sneak out and go around the fair! di bale joko, UP alumni ka naman you've been to UP fair dozens of times na so hayaan mo na ako magliwaliw and miki busy ka naman kay grandpa so that's okay too! i love bamboo and hilera and spongecola din! my special child moment is funny! wuhoo! and our threesome banterings is awesome too! we also harassed different band member for pics! yehey!

deja vu

deja vu @ 19east, it's me and miki with beers and fries - it's like old times but this time we were talking about a different guy - a different rockstar! and surprisingly this time around there are no sad dramas and no cursing (except about the girl who vacuums money) and no planning about what to do next.

it's freaking cold @ 19east and i forgot to bring my jacket, so inom ng beer para medyo mainit. we were joined by myke sarthou after a while and since the time we sat down til we went inside we were laughing and laughing at myke's hirit and his hand actions/gestures and facial expression! oh my god, i haven't laughed that much for a long time! my stomach literally hurts and he's really funny in a wholesome kind of way! at hindi pa tumigil, text text pa while they are performing na and eye contact plus dance steps! hehehe! (social climber, donna knock knock, alzheimers disease, myke's age, i don't wanna miss a thing dance step, hilera, closet queen, ang hindi kumanta panget, autism, pagiging slow, matitigas ang ulo, kala vocalist and his little d*** plus flying mic, his deja vu concert! - the best!)

T.G.I.F talaga.random thoughts

THANK GOD IT'S FRIDAY talaga! yes! reunited with miki and joko last friday and i had fun! joko was wearing this really cute outfit, miki has curly hair pa din, i met rd (verses RM?) and saw jeman again. so we headed to metrowalk to watch our cebuano band's free performance at elbow room, it's a winston thing event and we drank a bit, but i think my allergy for alcohol is back coz i got itchy on the way home and had rashes the next day.

anyhow, kahit may allergy factor the next day, everything is still a-ok and the best part of all is that sweet and miki started talking again and we hanged out with jovan and i feel na konting kulit na lang isasama na ako ni jovan sa u.s. tour nila! hehehe! araw-arawin ko nga! yes! who knows right? at least i can tour them a bit and we can all go to universal studios and buy all the superman stuffs there! i'm sure big smile with no eyes si ruben! speaking of ruben, he's hot at SOP yesterday! very college boy ang dating in his white long-sleeves na naka-fold and very hunky papa in his rayban glasses, what can i say - i heart ruben. hay! (may hay pa talaga!)

T5 adventure!

i'm not quite sure why it is called T5, all i know is that it's 6cylcemind's version of cueshé's pilipinas tour, theirs is called nationwide trip. anyways, their trip stopped by sta. rosa and the three of us decided to head south and meet up after i think two weeks or more of not seeing each other - busy kase kami sa work, ika nga ni joko: "wo-wo-working girls na kami!" naks! plus i want to see chuck it's been more than a month na since i last saw him though we talk sa phone once in a while, iba pa din ang personal bonding.

so we made tambay at 711 near sta. rosa's town plaza while waiting for chuck to arrive at the venue, we talked more about the band with no name and other stuffs as well, as always we took lots of pictures, meet new friends/minders and went home a bit early - kase ang sabi namin nasa atc lang kami discussing business stuffs. hehehe! oh, and joko's over him na! yeah! (for real na ba yan joko? hmmmm...) seems like uso ngayon ang moving forward - i guess time is gold?

2. christian baustista's just a love song album - collection of cover songs na senti performed and recorded live. (i'm enjoying this one because i heart christian and its fun to hear a different rendition of senti songs)
3. acoustic/live rendition of songs like irreplaceable, bad day, how to save a life, beautiful soul, chasing cars, smile like you mean it, love song etc. (love it)
4. cover songs like everyday people and lovely day by maroon 5, so sick by fall out boy, material girl by haylie and hillary duff, smells like teen spirit by tori amos, here comes the sun by coldplay, who will save your soul by jessica simpson and jewel etc....(cool!)
5. love album by the Beatles - what can i say? i love beatles!

≈ okay, my magtipid for 2007 project is working well for me. i still have money from my last sweldo to think that it's gonna be sweldo time again soon. not going much has it's advantages and disadvantages as well - that's life - win some, lose some.

≈ miki, joko and i gained another fan, well actually fan na namin siya before pa but i can't believe that nagiging issue pa ang we might we each other somewhere down way south! ay sus naman talaga! ibang leveling!

≈ i'm loving maroon 5 at the moment and i've discoverd some of their cover songs which i truly love as well! renewal of admiration ang drama ko, love-hate relationship kami ng maroon 5 eh! hahaha!

≈ looking forward to reading my just purchased books from amazon.com - it's been a long time since a read a good book, kase tong cueshé na toh eh! hahaha! (long vacation sila eh!)

a different point of view

i probably woke up at the wrong side of the bed yesterday, i suddenly lost interest in going to gigs/gimiks and suddenly had a goal in mind, a very simple goal actually - save more. not that i don't want to be with my friends or i want to be a hermit or something, maybe i can still do everything that i used to do but a cheaper, less expensive way? it is as if i realized that i'm not getting any younger, believe it or not i just found out that i was not able to save anything last year! yes, not a single cent and i wonder where my salary went? suddenly a vision of me in the middle of a bar, everywhere in the metro gave away the answer to my very dumb question, hence i have set a goal for myself - save at least 10% of what i'am earning and i tend to stick to that goal by hook or by crook para may self-fulfillment at the end of the year.

last monday, joko and i were able to drag ritz to go with us to a non-cueshé gimik. we met up with miki and jeman @ 70's bistro to watch 6cyclemind and callalily, this is my first not cueshé gig for 2007. chuck was not around to entertain/take care of us, the old guy (hehehe!) injured his knee or something so he had to rest and pass up the gig. sayang kase it's been a while since i've been to a 6cm's gig and i'm looking forward to seeing chuck and finding out what's been going on and what's in his mind lately....i love it when they tell me random things. anyways, i had fun listening to joko's hirits while she was a bit tipsy, jeman's statements, texting jovan and really laughing at his very naughty replies, and listening miki's comment that she keeps on whispering to me. ritz was able to catch callalily's complete set and at least about 15% of 6cyclemind's performance, joko decided to go home early without finishing the gig, at the taxi ride on the way to rockwell she declared that she's finally over him and is willing to move on to her next crushie - a tall guy this time.

oh, argie dropped by 70's to see us because it's been a while since we last saw each other. we were able to sight his lavender bmx bike as well and his new haircut.

first gig for 2007

it is as if history repeats itself, once again my first gig for 2007 is at 19east and with cueshé. i met up with ritz, joko, miki and jeman and 19east at around 930 or so, i was able to gave jeman my late x-mas gift - a melanie b cd from amazon.com and he was so so so happy happy joy joy! hehehe! ruben shared with us the photos of his new baby boy taken from his cellphone, it's too early yet to determine if the boy looks like ruben or kezia but for sure the boy has ruben's beautiful eyes! hehehe! i was able to meet mrs. labrado and fritz's cute daughter - tipay and for the first time i heard them perfrom live their rendition of the asian treasure theme song - walang yamang mas hihigit sayo.

for a change we opted to stay on the 2nd floor of 19east - the view is okay din naman and i was able to take good shots and convince ruben to dance! yehey! as usual there are lots of pictures and lots of chismis and lots of kulitan - kailangan pa bang i-memorize yun? hindi fun pag walang yung 3 elements na yan!

∞ i checked his friendster and i noticed that the guy doesn't have a pic with a certain band member, on the other hand he posted pics of him with his other workmates. i think it is evident now why he doesn't talk to us and why he's acting a bit aloof, our guesses was right - they are not friends even if they work together, and i wonder why? (do i smell competition?)

∞ his status on friendster is it's complicated, on the other hand her staus is single and she is just 16 years old (well, that's what i saw on her friendster profile) isn't her too young for him? ahem, corrupting a minor?

∞ i really don't have to know their relationship status but then he - as my friend has the tendency of sharing with me how their relationship was doing. i'm flattered however he should know better.

∞ when will he ever respect women? he treats women like a jeans or a shirt that he can wear a certain number of times and then when he get tired of it he'll just dump it and will proceed to buying buying a new one.

∞ i cannot believe that they are still together despite of what he did to her (and me?) i guess some girls are just plain stupid or maybe that's what they called love (or nanghihinayang?)

∞ how did they become friends? they are a bunch of lunatics who have a tendency of doing pshychotic things (blind item anyone?) and they have one thing in common - they have loved and lost (and can't accept it?) their alliance came unexpectedly to me and to the other peeps.

∞ he asked me if it's possible for me to be in a relationship with a guy who has a child na, single but already a father and my reply? i'll cross the bridge when i get there. (mahirap magsalita ng tapos)

∞ i hope she will realize that she's better off without him and that no matter what happens she will be able to recover-move on-smile. getting hurt and building a wall around you to protect yourself from more pain is just part of life - as they say it, charge it to experience. the next one will be better because you'll be wiser!

NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTIONS:

1. lose more weight (and be like the girls joko and I saw @ Rockwell!)
2. watch gig of other bands at least once a month (spongecola, urbandub, imago, silent sanctuary (for joko), hale, hilera, kamikazee, parokya ni edgar, sandwich, chicosci etc)
3. save more, therefore spend less. (this will be major hard! Stop buying unnecessary things)
4. get to know more people really well
5. pamper myself more (go to the parlor/spa as often as I can)
6. take risks
7. find more opportunity for more growth
8. express myself more (pero wag naman dating psycho!)
9. have more fun
10. laugh and smile more often

joko and i met up at starbucks glorietta (where she read cosmo mag cover to cover, kase ang tagal namin ni miki), went window shopping a bit and then decided to meet up with miki at greenbelt. we ate at blue ginger - a thai resto and then we had coffee, all the chikas and lots of pictures at seattles best.
