friday night

last friday was a memorable night.

a lot of unexpected things happened last friday, saturday and yesterday. things that i never ever thought would happen - ever. i guess some good things never last but then it is sad to know that she has reached the limit, that there is a limit to begin with...i thought what we had is something that will go beyond this lifetime - something that our grandchildren can still share....i guess i was wrong and proves again that nothing is permanent in this world, in our life.

needless to say, i was not prepared with whatever changes the world wants to offer - none of us were but as they say, life must go on - life will go on and as humans we should try our best to cope and adjust to the changes in our life.

i cannot really explain what happened - i'm lost for words, or maybe i'm just really lost as to why such a happy friday night turned out to be a crossroad for most of us. things happened so fast, one minute we were laughing, the next we were literally hoping we'll make it alive and then there's blogging and more blogging. and then after two days.....lost.

maybe last night is the closure we are all hoping for, maybe it's a new beginning for all of us...whatever it is, i know that god knows what's best for all of us and maybe it's his way of letting us know that some things are not just the way we think it is, some people are different from what we perceived they are and it's god's way of letting me know that i'm a stronger person than i think i'am.

i don't think i did something wrong other than being me - the real me. the way i acted last friday is the usual me - maybe a bit hyper (but i'm always hyper) but it's still me. if i teased too much or laughed too much...it's just right for the situation since it's a happy friday night, we are all teasing each other and laughing the night away. i guess, i can't please everybody and i can't make them love the real me.

as my fave song goes: "you've got to love me for what i'am for simply being me, don't love me for what you intend or hope that i would be....."

lomography

late last year, i got addicted to lomography and films. i started haunting down cheap lomo cameras and hoarding expired slide films, i even made extra money through this interest of mine - now i'm loving everything about lomography and appreciating it at the same time.

this is it

my old boss called me yesterday and asked me if i would like to join her in her new work at another advertising firm - i always liked working with her because we somehow jive and we both know how to work our asses off, i told her that i'd think about it. and i'am thinking about it.

i bought a lot of new books yesterday and kiti sent me lots of e-books too (thanks baby!), almost done reading the curious incident of the dog in the night-time and it's a great book...skeptical at first if i will enjoy the book but turned out that i loved it. i missed reading lots of books, i don't know why i stopped reading and buying books - lack of time perhaps? so anyhow, i made a pact with myself to read at least 2 books in a month (i used to read 10 books a month). i should use my fully booked and powerbooks discount cards more often.

i also should watch at least 1 classic/old school movie like gone in the wind, big chill, mermaid, beaches and other cool old school movie. (i can do this!)

thinking of buying a new digital camera - canon S5 IS, it's a really cool camera and not that expensive too. yes, i'm also still thinking about it.

my shipment of films will arrive today - or tomorrow but within the week and i'm excited to make money! hahaha! okay and excited to shop for new stocks also - any kind of shopping is fun.

i lost 3 pounds, yehey! not eating rice and no dinner for 5 days rocks! i hope this will continues 10 pounds in a month is a breeze then! wuhooo!!!

i'am getting lazy, lazier. hahaha! i should so all the things that i listed down my starbucks planner. i should! should! should! now na. whew. too many things to do, so little time. whoa!

this is it, the time for all kinds of growth. getting old sucks. hmmmm...it's fun but most of the time sucks but i must channel good vibes - positivity, all good things and all happiness. awesome.

fly me to the moon

last night was my first time to camwhore the moon and it's fascinating- full moon last night, a great time to capture its awesomeness. sana pwede din i-camwhore ang stars, pero miki and i browsed how much yung lens for the stars at muntik na kami mamatay sa mahal - almost 350k, but that would be awesome, radical, out of this world!

calatagan escapade

had a great time at pansol last wednesday and at calatagan yesterday! saya mag-summer get-away ng weekday!

joko had fun sa kneeboarding hurah niya and she's good ha, sabi nga ni doinee - parang figurine kase si joko eh. anyways, i think athletic lang talaga ang jona! mwahahha! si doinee naman magaling maghabol ng boards niya! go deo martin!

sana na-achieve ni kulot ang maging tan for the summer, though kahapon para lang siyang lechon na mamula-mula, gawa siguro yun sa beer na pinanligo niya for the tan kuno!

i got around 600 pics to upload and good luck sa akin all over again. weh! tired! hahaha! plus 5 rolls of films that i need to develop - kaso wala pa akong pera!

masakit ang mga joints ko at parang paos-paos ako, wish ko lang hindi ako magkasakit kase mahirap magkasakit at ayoko. super tired dahil sa two consecutive days of swimming.

anyways, we had dinner at hula last night before heading home and the food is really good! yummyness! at sabi ko nga kay kiti, tom na lang ulet tayo mag-diet nakakalungkot ang hindi kumain pag kasama mo ang mga friendships! hahaha!

back to work on a friday, kung hindi lang ako puro leave hindi na ako papasok today! hahha! kaso para makaleave ulet ng madami, dapat magpacute din ng madami! hehehe!

summer time

weird kase may bagyo nung isang araw - bagyo kahit summertime? pati ata si mother nature nalilito na....nakakawindang na daw ang pangyayari sa world!

so today is my mommy's birthday - 57 na siya at 3 years to go senior citizen na siya! yehey! 20% discount is the best! i got her a liz claiborne wallet, terno kami and then a big and awesome make-up kit at terno ulet kami! hahaha!

ang gimik ni mommy for her birthday ay swimming party! o di ba? bagets na bagets! hahaha! sana lang makapunta ako kase weekday di ba? but will try my uber best to be there! anyway, looking forward to trying out my underwater camera for the first time - though sayang at hindi ko siya magagamit ng daytime - i wonder if anung outcome pag night time....hmmm.....

excited na ako sa calatagan trip tomorrow! awesomeness!! and cebu/bohol trip in may! wow! todo summertime na ito! let's go! sana matuloy ang bora trip namin on my b-day! yehey! ang saya! todo na for summer! hehe!

went out for dinner and movies with joko, dino and kiti last friday - last kita namin ng mejia wonder twins ay beyonce concert pa....namiss ko sila in fairness! and looking forward to our bonding trip tomorrow! yahooness! ang saya ng camwhoring bonding session sa gitna ng atc - walang hiya talaga tayo. bow!

and i'm back

yes, i'm really back. i had super fun at hong kong. super enjoy ako sa disneyland kahit na super nakakapagod maglakad ng maglakad - to think that hong kong disneyland is smaller than the one in LA - i wonder kung panu ko nakaya ang disneyland LA before...maybe, i'm just getting older. anyways, not much shopping for me at hong kong though i bought lots of pasalubong for my la familia and they loved it. oh and i was able to hoard lots of paper mala origami stars at hong kong! ang saya! that made my trip! hahaha! i know mababaw but happiness!

i must do more business so that i can travel more because travelling is LOVE.

holy week

we love gab! adorable girl!

ang mga pinagka-abalahan nung holy week:

1. watched CSI - Las Vegas, re-watching it since i'm running out of series to watch dahil sa writer strike. i just finished watching bitin new season on desperate housewives and grey's anatomy.

2. bisita iglesia with la familia around metro manila, stil 14 churches and still fun and a bit stressful since medyo we started out late we thought hindi kami aabot sa ibang simbahan dahil past 12am na, but god loves us and we made it pa din!

3. went to calamba for the annual holy week/family reunion. well, we're supposed to go to san pablo like what we do every year, but we opted not to go this year since tita marita is sick and it's sad to go without her. anyways, i had fun hanging out at our compound anyways.

4. cleaned my room - yes, you read it right. hahaha! i have to get rid of the boxes, and i mean lots of boxes hanging out at my room. sorry, business woman na ako kaya ang mga boxes ay madami - it's from the camera and films that i sell.

5. read a lot of blog entry, from my blog (yes reminisce...), other people's blog and some controversial blog that jeman told me to read. it amuses me and i actually spent like almost the whole sunday doing that. hahaha! seriously, i also learned a lot from some stuffs i read. happy.

6. tried to fix and put new songs to my ipod but no avail. better luck next time.

7. gathered my films for developing/scanning! guess what? i found close to 12 films that i need to bring to digiprint. good luck to me then! weh!

8. made a list of things to bring in hong kong and i'm so torn as to what film camera to bring. i want to bring them all but then if i do that i'll end up just bringing my cameras and no clothes at all which i think will not work. so, i think i'll bring just 3 film cameras - 2 vivitars and my holga, that will do.....or maybe four...since i have two holgas. weh! sucks! big time. toss coin na lang ito!

9. text galore with friends, siguro vacation kaya time to catch up with all the chikahan. hahaha!

on random thoughts:
can't wait to leave for hong kong! excited and all that jazz. yipee!

mom and i promised to save up for a U.S. trip before our visa expires - mine will expire on 2012.

so, that give me four years to save up - at least 100,000? weh. sana manalo ako sa lotto.

can't wait for our out of town trip - just in time to celebrate our anniversary. let's go!

saturday lakwatsa

so i was out the whole day - lakwatsera ng super. went home at around 3am at ayaw pa akong pauwiin nina joko, alden at miki ng lagay na yun but then i'm so sleeepy na and got tons of things to do / pictures to upload. i took about 500 pictures with my slr plus around a 50 more with my lomo cameras which i hope i'll consume by this week, para mapadevelop ko.

so went to the following places last saturday:

shell mamplasan for joko's stop over / visit nino and gail (and give ian killer looks)

with joko again! as in every three days ay nagkikita kami

so, joko and i had an awesome time at araneta last night -
incubus rocks!! and sobrang aliw kase joko is literally
drooling at brandon boyd!! c'mon! hahaha!

super fun ang ng maroon 5! adam is hot, he's an awesome singer and naging bad kami ni joko by going to the 10k area even though 7k lang ang tix namin - hahaha! love love the makes me wonder with audience participation thingy! adam is like all smiles sa sobrang tuwa dahil alam ng mga taga manila ang lyrics ng songs nila! hahaha! he's like a kid!

anyhow, joko and i saw our cebuano boys sans mike because apparently he has no money - and it makes me wonder....where is the money?

okay, to sum it all up it was an awesome concert na medyo bitin - sana lang kinanta ang kiwi at infatuationm pero panalo pa din ng sobra! waaaaaaaaah! i love you adam!

inter faith rally & sleepover

briefly joined the inter faith rally held at ayala ave. last friday with allen, amy and marge. it's my first time to join some kind of rally - i was not able to go to edsa when erap was ousted. so i took lots of pictures and realized how fun it is in the middle of all kinds of people and democracy rocks though our beloved president wants to control what we do and what we say which i say sucks - i hate her and her husband. seriously, i wonder how she sleeps at night.

left my office a bit early to head off mamplasan to visit miki at her work, wait for joko and then had dinner together before leaving for joko's house to sleep a bit and come back to pick-up miki and head off to her place at calamba to watch mean girls, sleep more, eat breakfast and watch her pack her things since she was leaving the same day for hong kong - just for 9 days.

happy to see gail and niño - they are such camwhores, manang mana kay michaela. hahaha! at ang masasabi ko lang ay masarap ang powernap, mahal ko si jaki a.k.a mimi at carlito, ang crv ni joko dahil seatmate kami ni n-babe (hahahha!!!) at ang kumain ng binalot ng 6am! yun!
