things that i remember on that gig: 500 pesos and i don't wanna miss a thing, harassing the waiter for giving out our table, threatening not to pay our bill, studex poster, the band signed my 2nd cd, harassing brian and nonoy, hanging out with the twins, mike's seatmate, jay's ipod, backdrop pic, how badly i want to dance but miki declined to have fun with me, cementery, new textmates, my pambahay attire, jhunjie all by himself all over again, partner-partner, finally dancing! - with the twins, maroon mercedes benz, miki's sleepover at jeman's place kahit wala si jeman, big bro scaring me about bringing home a friend from padis, gising 24hours, sleepless night!

joko arrived at phi bar after about 10 bands - some old, some new, some too loud, some weird looking - as in halo-halo espesyal talaga at dumudugo na yung ears ko sa sobrang daming bands! hehehe! malapit ng sumakit ang ulo buti na lang to the rescue si joko and si rolan the P.A. wuhoo!! okay again congrats joko for getting a really high almost perfect score last saturday on your finals in baking thing! very joko! yes! and thanks joko fro bringing me home!

CALLALILY: galing ng drummer - to think that he's still young and all, kean is really cute, sana maging next bf ni miki si kean, i love their song insane and stars and magbalik, definitely there is still room for improvement but then as i said they are still very young and anything can happen - swertihan na lang talaga, they have lots of fans!

6CYCLEMIND: i love 6cyclemind, i love ney-in a wholesome-galing-kumanta-i-admire-him kind of way(di lang ako may love dito! hehe!), super galing nila mag-live, looking forward to watching them again - next time dapat may cover songs na kase i want to hear what kind of covers they do, chuck is cool onstage, dami din nilang fans, ang kulit ni tutti, magaling yung sessionist drummer nila at i can't wait to see their new MTV for umaasa. wuhoo!!

IMAGO: in fairness cute yung ex-gf ni kuya ha! hehe!, galing kumanta ng vocalist and i love taralets hence i love imago! hehe! they've got lots of fans too and the crowd loves them especially when they sang ewan and taralets.

CHICOSCI: i love chicosci, kahit medyo loud at rock talaga genre nila loves ko sila they are cool!, i find mong so cute and he makes this facial expressions unaware that he is really cute! hehe! go joko - inspiration! joko and i bought their t-shirt (in white, believe it or not) and their independently released album! yes!

chuck as usual is so nice and we were able to get our cd sleeves from him yehey! we hanged out for a while in the band room wherein chuck intro me to this bunch of really young girls who is supposedly CHUCKERS mwahahha! mga fans mo mga minors! wuhoo! at sana di mo papaentertain sa akin kase hindi din ako babysitter chuck! joke lang loves you pa din b-day boy!

road trip

joko and i decided to go on a road trip last friday.

two choices: go to robinson lipa for 6cyclemind or go to robinson dasmarinas for cueshe.

guess where we went? hehe! okay cueshe pa din!

yan ha kahit there is trouble in paradise it's still a go go thing for me!

kami naligaw,just follow the long and winding road. hehe!

at mga twice lang kami nagtanong, ay once lang pala.

i was greeted by the P.A.'s shocked expression, they didn't expect to see me

so soon after the thing that happened. they teased me with their silly smiles and

pamatay hirits as usual - they keep on teasing me!

omeng was really funny and makulit. after the mingling thing with them

joko and i went to see the band and the first thing that jovan said to me was

"totoo bang may bulutong si miki?" which i answered with a yes and a smile.

jovan keeps on dancing, jay was teasing me immensely, which i responded with teasing

him that everything was his fault. hehe! ang kukulit grabeh!

all of them are teasing me and making up stuffs that are so hilarious.

mike and i was able to talk things out and also discussed the essence of

number 1, 2, and 3. hahaha! and the use of the thing in his ears - which i find weird

pa din pero if it helps him with his thing then it's okay i guess.

jay was teasing me about our M.Y. kulitans and made some really outrageous

remarks about how i professes my love to mr. manaloto via M.Y.

out of towners

yes, we did the ultimate fan thing once again last friday! to the highest level of fandom na talaga and i hope you guys won't be shock if i do made it to guam on the last week of september. haha!! miki, ritz, alleli, cathy and moi traveled down north to catch the 4th leg of Cueshe's Pilipinas Tour, they were set to perform at Araullo University at Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija last friday. It was raining hard last friday so we arrived a bit late at the venue but still we were able to catch most of their performance of the songs that i love and that includes ruben's i don't want to miss a thing, their queen oohh-la-la medley, ruben's she will be loved and their no.1 hit ulan! sayang hindi kinanta ang pasensiya na that night kase bakit ang nasa repertoire. oh and for the first time i heard them performed jealous guy live and jovan did the whistling part thing of the song and it was hilarious - nakakabilib na nakakatawa! si jovan talaga you'll never know what he'll do next! sabi ko na nga ba si jovan na ang next na pasalihin sa K! the one million peso videoke challenge, baka sakaling manalo na kase ilang beses na si ruben sumasali at laging talo. you'll never know jovan might bring home one million! yehey!! party toh sa K tuna grill pag nagkataon! ang saya!

Ay kakaiba ang trip ng mga fans sa Cabanatuan, or baka ganun talaga ang uso sa probinsiya? ewan ko lang din ha, pero ang trip nila ay ibigay ang panyo/bimpo/tiwalya nila kay ruben para gamitin ni ruben pampahid ng pawis niya and then ruben should return the panyo etc. with all his pawis! astig na nakakadiri pero aliw naman. one time ruben got a panyo and instead of wiping his sweat he wiped fritz's sweat and returned the panyo to a fan! funny guy talaga! at may dulas factor si ruben when they tried this jumping thing during a song! wawa naman! okay pa ba kayo? kase ako hindi! hehehe!!

after the show which lasted for about 1 1/2 hours, mike invited us to go at their hotel to hang-out daw for a while. we decided to go and had dinner na din at the hotel. There are some dancing thing going on in the hotel and fun sana sumayaw but the waiter said we cannot dance unless we are wearing proper shoes? or attire din? ay sorry na lang talaga kase parang naka-pambahay lang ako nung friday. hehehe! i did had a chance to hang-out with them and with mike for that matter. there are times when i think it's still surreal but i know that it's a good thing. It was fun watching them while being interviewed by MMS, pamatay yung bed scene kuno nila at malas ng mga dinaganan ni mike! hehe! at syempre pamatay si ruben! wuhooo! winner naman talaga! the three girls cathy, alleli and miki decided to stay at Cabanatuan and go to the other two cities with the band, ritz and i on the other hand went home despite the pangungulit ni mike! and mind you pag si mike ang nangulit at nanlambing mahirap tumanggi, buti na lang meron akong bargaining powers at gumagana ang utak ko nung mga panahong yun! galing talaga ng control powers ko! my mom should be proud talaga! hahaha!! anyways, got home at around 4am and was up early the next day to do some errands.

saturday is my 6 cycle mind day! yeah! band switch na talaga! hahaha! oh i love 6 cycle mind kase they are a bunch of really nice and funny funny guys, they take care of me really well and hindi nila ako inaaway. hehe! wala lang. anyways, i promised chuck that i'll go to robinson sta. rosa and watch them with or without miki buti na lang at joko decided to go with me sa mall show nina chuck! yahoo! and besides happy ako kase i want to hang-out with joko kase miss ko na siya! wuhoo!! so bonding muna kami ni joko over some cold drink from frio and then we joined chuck and the rest of the band backstage for some chika and kulitans! si chuck ay pini-pimp ako sa loving P.A. nila na si rolan, at pinagkalat na niya sa buong banda. bad trip talaga tong si chuck oh! hmph! tandaan mo chuck, makakaganti din ako! hmph! joko, galing manggaya ni chuck ng mga kapwa niya bandista noh? hehehe! hilarious!

okay, other than the hard rock thing last month ngayon ko lang napanuod ang 6cm, well im supposed to watch them last week at araneta but miki got hungry, then again at UP Diliman but ney fell sa stage so hindi din natuloy. hehe! anu ba yun! so anyways, finally napanuod ko na din sila at congratulations joko kase may alam kang 4 na kanta ng 6 cycle! wuhoo! yan napabili ka tuloy ng cd ng wala sa panahon kase ang baet nila at they are good performers naman di ba? galing mag-live! wuhoo!! so chuck has to piss me off onstage by playing a few chords and singing a few lines of cueshe's ulan, galing talaga mang-inis ni mr. isidro na kasing taba ni tutti! mwahaha!!

infairness, super inalagaan naman kami ni chuck til the bitter end of running away from the fans and with all the security chever ever,mali lang talaga tayo ng pwesto joko, so ang 6 cycle mind lesson natin ay never to follow ney after a show lalo na pag mall show kase for sure hahabulin at susugudin siya ng fans na sandamakmak. hehehe!

after sta. rosa, joko and i are off to ATC, malling a bit then it's time for me to go home. thanks again joko for going with me, i appreciate it. loves you! and im glad that you liked chuck and 6 cyclemind and someone too. hehehe!!! wala lang! sana wag mo akoing tuksuhin kay rolan! hehe!

In as much as I want this entry to be funny like the other entries I made, something in me cant pull-out my makukulit comments, wednesday night was fun but it was also a reality check for a lot of peeps. Yeah even the psycho ones – andun man sa padis or wala!

penshoppe denimlab rockfest @ araneta

thank you darwin, LT, and kean for the tickets!

the denimlab rockfest thing was an event to celebrate Penshoppe's 20th year in the clothing business and to commemorate this milestone they had an event @ Araneta Coliseum last Friday. It features a fashion show and a band showdown which is really cool. There are about 20 or so local bands that performed that night, miki and i were able to catch the performances of mayonaise, hale, juana, imago, 6 cycle mind, callalily, protein shake, itchyworms, pedicab, sugarfree. We didn't catch the performances of kamikazee, parokya ni edgar, kala, up dharma down, mojofly, dicta license, pupil, spongecola and bamboo.

well, it was darn cold in araneta that we opted to spend more time outside the venue and just listen behind doors, sing, go wacky, laugh, dance and just goof around! i was able to watch hale for the first time at totoo ang chismis - piyukin si champ! - oh my god! i'm damn proud to say that cueshe is way better than hale, bet champ can't sing i don't wanna miss a thing! go ruben! pero cute si champ! callalily sang just one song but kean is still hot and miki is having flashbacks of kean saying "nice pants" to her. yehey! i was able to hear tutti sing too - galing ha! in fairness! haha! i would die laughing if 6 cycle mind came after protein shake, kawawa naman si tutti - singer na drummer pa! good thing that callalily performed after protein then 6 cycle or else kawawa si tutti. sandwich is the best! they really can work the crowd and their song is to rock for, miki and i are shouting "rock and roll hanggang umaga" on the top of our lungs and it was fun! hahaha!! pero parang nasobrahan ng eye make-up at eye-liner si raymond but who cares!

till about last night when i was eating dinner did i only realized that there are a lot of hilarious moments that happened last friday and when miki and i were chatting about it over YM - i can't help but laugh really hard. well, hilarious/weird moment are as follows:

LOCATION: Araneta Coliseum

taralets by imago is now the official carla-miki theme song! (taralets, tara tara, taralets - hindi ka na mabibigo wohooo!!)

hindi namin nakitang nalalaglag from the butas sa stage si ney (vocalist of 6 cycle mind) WHY? let me explain, we have a valid reason! - well, chuck invited us to catch their gig at UP Diliman after Araneta which we agreed to and since we will watch them later that night miki decided that we can miss their peroformance at araneta and just catch them at UP- instead miki wants to eat corn and hang out outside the venue. ney fell somewhere between miki's corn and jeman's pilipinas tour live via globe telecom update - SORRY NEY! huli ko siya nakita he was down the catwalk area trying to work the crowd and then the next thing i knew it's imago's turn to perfrom - taralets, tara tara, taralets! yeah!

we invented reasons why ney was in the hospital - we really got this weird text from chuck stating to meet us at UP since they have to bring ney to the hospital and miki and i were wondering why ney has to go to the doctor house - baka nahimtay, overfatigued siguro, baka nawalan ng boses, unahan natin sa ospital si ney carla!, maya-maya na tayo umalis baka spongecola na!, yan na sandwich-sugod mga kapatid!!

i told my driver that we're going to UP Diliman after Araneta but jokingly said that we are going to UP Los Banos and guess what? my driver actually believed that i wanted to go to UP Los Banos so we were heading down south instead of north and it was only when we reached megamall that i asked my driver - "bert, san tayo pupunta? UP Diliman tayo ha not Los Banos?" my driver was laughing - OMG - we are heading Los Banos. hence, we have to turn around and start going back.

miki was able to see the most funniest picture of someone - right miki? i told you i'm the bearer of the past and the key to the bright future! hehe! kaya ata namin di namalayan that we're heading south instead of north kase pamatay yung mga pics, busy kami sa kakatawa.

C6cm: we cannot perform na, ney is still in the hospital

C & M: (puzzled look) why is he in the hospital what happened?

C6cm: di nyo ba nakita nangyari? ney fell on the thing sa stage, he fell on heart evangelista.

C: he did? sorry, not able to watch your performance. miki has to eat corn - buttered corn. so we left like in the middle of your performance and we really did not see ney fell or something.

C6cm: kaya pala you guys are very calm and kept on asking what happened, akala ko you just want details or something

M: sorry, my bad. so what happened to ney again? and where is he right now?

C6cm: St. Lukes, we are going in a while. why don't you guys ride with us na lang, just call your driver carla and tell him to meet us there.

C: okay, will call bert now.

Tutti was left behind at UP, his other band protein shake is one of the other bands that are set to perform at UP Bahay ng Alumni so he went down the van and smoked. and as if not seeing ney fell is not embarassing enough i have to embarass myself more by waving to tutti while he was outside the van (i can see him through the window) only to find out that he can see me waving at him and so he waved back but i freaked out when he opened the van door and talked to me....hehe! akala ko kung anung sasabihin niya but he just said: "san cell mo? - type mo to, MYX VOTE KAMAYNIDABID... vote ka 9 times everyday ha?" then we kinda had an argument as to whether the title of the song should have space or not? and it's funny! really funny! hehehe! oh, kuya roland got my number too - textmates na kami! yehey!!

1130 pm: chuck, rye, bob, carla and miki are on the way to St. Lukes with bert following us somewhere.

ney is okay naman but we have to like wait for his test results and some other details from his doc. chuck was telling us about his experiences with psychos and fans and girls and more fans and gigs and accidents - basta daming kwento! at galing mang-gaya talaga ni chuck!

3am: chuck's service/bandmates/p.a.'s arrived to pick him up for their bicol roadtrip - tutti was there and his last words to me are: MYX VOTE KAMAYNIDABID pa din!

it's not the trip, it's the destination!

kami nAPO muna @ eastwood

after the breakfast club gig last wednesday the ILTD girls minus Ritz, decided to see each other again and go to the kami nAPO muna album launch @ eastwood libis! okay so, miki and i went together and meet up with joko and iya somewhere in the throngs of crowd trying to catch a glimpse of some of the best local bands in our country. when we got to the venue it was shamrock who's performing and sandwich came next. joko was engrossed watching mong, that when miki and i tried to say hi she just like give us a big wave and then proceeded again to watching sandwich performance - wait! is it a big wave or a big shove? hehe! vanessa joined us too for a while but had to leave early. miki, joko and i just went around libis, watch other bands, try to hide from the akala-mo-statue-yun-pala-taong-buhay things that miki was so afraid of, ate at mcdo, compose/change lyrics of an apo hit not included in their tribute album, have picture taken with band members that we saw walking around eastwood, analyze psychotic behavior and just goof around.

we're supposed to go to callalily's gig @ aruba and it's a good thing that we decided to call up muna some people from soup star entertainment hence we found out that their gig was cancelled, that they were around the vicinity and they invited us over. we joined them at starbucks, have short chika with kean, LT and darwin - really cool and nice people.

we kinda harrased kean into taking some photos and making him wear my mike cap! hehe! but he is such a nice guy that he gave in to our requests - really awesome and really wafu! hehe! plus he made this comment about miki's pants which made miki's night! hehehe! bleh! okay after our kean adventure we went home na and did not have midnight snack at congo grille like we did the last time! hehehe!!

it was really fun to hang-out with miki, iya, and joko - outside cueshe gig! really have fun and i hope we could do this more often - like once a month at least - ILTD meeting! hehe! we have to talk about how we will make mike more popular other than suing some guy or so? let's make him like a very popular drummer! hehe!! magkita lang tayo! haha! game girls?? okay? well, president's order! see you on the 6th and on the 21st! game na yan!
