Important Lessons

there are important lessons in life that i've learned in my recent out of town trip, it's true what they say about life....shit happens! =) just take it all, rise above it, do not look back and just enjoy life because it is said to short and i'm glad it is.

so lessons as followed:

1. Past will haunt you down forever! no kidding! no matter how hard you try to get past it and live in the present and look forward to the future, past will always haunt you whether you like it or not, so i suggest you prepare (because i lack such preparation) and brace yourself for the unexpected! not all surprises are good.

2. You can't please everybody! no matter how charming, pretty, handsome, thoughtful, sweet or perfect you are. it's true that you can't please everybody! i thought this was just a cliche but damn....haters are haters!

3. Everything is about money! no explanation needed.

4. No one will love you like your mommy! no matter how good or bad you are....your mom will always be your number one fan. i'll be Caitlins number one fan for sure. =)

5. Blame it on the rain! some people will blame even the rain just to get some salvation. can't accept that one is not perfect and mistakes are inevitable.

6. You don't want your child/children to feel the pain and hurt that you're feeling or been through! i will kill anyone who will hurt my Caitlin! (serious mode to!)

7. It is possible to lose all the feelings without anesthesia! numbness is a reality! =)

i can't believe what happened to you, you've become self-absorbed and all knowing. it's sad to know that you are not the same person you used to be but what's worst is that you've changed not for the better. i admire how you can talk nicely to other people and turn into a nasty one when you talk to me which is not very often.

Smallville made me realized that I'm still a hopeless romantic, in as much as I already settled with what my life is right now, I suddenly missed the feeling of "kilig", I suddenly long for the romance and all that comes with it.

It's been a while and I missed the feeling of seeing your crush from a distance and the 5 mins conversation that you will rewind in your mind the whole day or week. The nervousness i'd feel whenever I'm in the same room with someone I adore. Or a good surprise that will make me smile, the butterfly in my stomach whenever I'm about to see my someone.

It takes two to tango. I know my part.

It's just there, it's just needed to be rekindled. I hope soon because I miss the feeling.

I have a lot on my mind lately, I wanted to blog more and express what I'm feeling but for some unexplained reason I don't blog about anything anymore. I missed writing here in my blog, I blame twitter for letting me express myself in 140 characters.

Christmas is just around the corner and for the first time, my family will be spending the holidays in Cebu with Mike's family. I look forward to eating lots of delicious foods since I dubbed Cebu "the land of yummy foods". Of course I'm excited for Caitlin, it'll be her first Christmas with her Manaloto family, and somewhat her first Christmas because she was just 15 days old last year and really really thin.

I spent last friday and saturday with my family in Las Pinas, went to my kuya's pamamanhikan. He is finally getting married and I'm really happy because it's with ate Yanie. Finally and thank God it's with her. I love ate Yanie, she's the best thing that ever happened to kuya.

I'm now consolidating a list of Christmas wishlist for myself. hahahaa! who knows right? I might get what I want. hehehe!

I'm so happy I found time to blog. I used to blog almost everyday. Now I have to go, Caitlins staring at me, I think she wants to play with me.

time flies when you're having fun and it's true that spontaneity rocks with a little dash of planning, just a little.

seeing things in a different light, hopefully this time it'll be better and not turn into something ugly all over again. it's irritating and i don't wanna go through shits all over again.

i spent the weekend over at my parents place! it was awesome and i ate a lot! i missed yaya's cooking and i think i gained 5lbs from my two day stay. i love my family.

i miss lomography, hoping after bagyong juan we can all go to Luneta and go lomo-ing

i love caitlin so much, she keep me sane and grounded. she's so adorable. i would say without her things will be a lot different. thank God for caitlin.

hello february! i can't believe we're on the second month of 2010 already! the month of romance! 13 days to go til valentines day!

caitlin's growing up so fast, she can now lift her head and shift it when she's sleeping on her stomach. she also shifted her diaper size to small instead of newborn. she now weighs 4.2kg or 9lbs and she is already 21.75 inches long. she can finish a big can of similac advance in just 6 days with breastfeeding. let me just say wow! growing so fast.

i miss taking lomo pics and the excitement of going to digiprint to have the films processed and the joy of looking at the pics after a few days of developing it. i wish i can go some place where i can lomo a lot. i miss you lomoraphy. i miss my analog cameras, it's still in our place at las pinas...need to make room for them here at my new home. let's lomo soon!

writing here is therapeutic. i'm so glad i'm back to blogging. i love twitter but oftentimes 140 characters are not enough to express what i feel plus everything i write there are being scrutinized and some thoughts are misunderstood.

i would like to think that slowly, everything is going to back to how stuffs are used to be but then i still feel uneasy and confused. most of the time it doesn't feel right, things don't add up and it's weird. i don't want this. i hate this.

i'm missing a lot of things. i'm longing for a lot of old TLC. i'm praying for it every night.

2009 is obviously a super busy year for me: i got married, moved to quezon city, i stopped working and then unexpectedly gave birth. i barely had a chance to catch my breath or more so write nor update this site but still it's all good. i would say 2009 are full of life changing decisions for me but so far so good...there are complications, problems and misunderstandings but that's all part of change and change is good, change is inevitable. indeed life is full or surprises, so far all good surprises =)

i'm at work right now and the weather is really bad, bad in a sense that it makes me don't wanna work and just go back to bed and sleep the whole day! i envy those who can stay in bed til noon or so! waaaah! bed weather is bad!

monday night was spent with my girls minus kwe plus sander! dinner/business meeting at fish out of water, greenbelt. we talked about our money making plans and how we will dominate the world! hahaha! oh yeah we will - one step at a time. let's go girls! spent tuesday with mike =) bonding time.

first stop: cash and carry, to drop off Bie for her dentist appointment and visit dr. cj maligaya na din. discovered cash and carry's awesome selection of imported goods - especially perfumes, medicines, chocolates and other awesome stuff na masayang ishopping!
bought: headbands, shoes, scissors, medicine kit, 1 perfume for panda, 5 colognes for me, 3 ballpens, coloring books and other artistic stuffs for tipay, open/close sign for CJ

second stop: greenbelt makati, to return joko's belkin fm something for her ipod and car - turns out ako pala ang magshoshopping to get her refund! wah!
bought: iphone case for my soon to be iphone, ipod case for jared III, some cute mobile case for my cellphones. =)

third stop: eastwood libis to meet up with tin and friends but may stop over muna sa people are people because i need shirts! lots of em!
bought: 6 shirts, 2 shirts with collar and a vest.

last wednesday, we shared something really good and personal - it is something that i did not expect but it felt good and i know that we're maturing together. the bonding was intense and all worth it, a unique experience.

the psycho is back back back! as of yesterday she is on full force and her/his/their path of destruction is aimless. they/she/he attack out of nowhere and with no sure target. it's like - "bahala na kung sinong tamaan basta i'll have my psycho attack today!" wow naman.

today, we just found out (mike and i) that i have a long time bf named ian. wow naman talaga! sino naman kaya si ian, and with my super busy sched and my sleeping early how can i maintain two bf's? wow! iba talaga ang nagagawa ng imagination and guts!

i'm wondering when the psychos will get tired of harrasing me - it's been more or less 8 months already and they are still doing everything they can to ruin our relationship. its just making us stronger, closer than ever, excited like hell! =) stop it na! stop! universe make the psychos stop!

i swear all the attack and psycho doings is just making me laugh! it's pathetic. super.

more or less 16 days til my vietnam! waaaahhh! lapit na!

excited for dinner tonight and see mike again tomorrow =)

start the month right and be with awesome cool people!

went to rotaract sports fest with joko @ rizal stadium
early sunday morning, and i mean really early.
met cj and archie and other cool rotaract peeps! cool!
super hot but still fun. meet up with rod and polo
at rizal stadium and then with mike at rockwell.

so after rockwell mike and i went to the mall to bond
amidst the super daming payday crowd. =)
it was fun and we did a good job of not spending too much.

bonding with velcro is loads of fun too, learned a lot
about his new awesome stuffs and mike is really spoiling him.
(yes, parang anak! ganun talaga!)

for the first time in three years or four years i'm not single on valentines =) but mike has work and he's out of town so there's no valentine date, no flowers, no chocolates, nothing. still happy though. just steady. just okay. =) hoping for a post valentines hurah with him soon after he's rested.

so, i ended up spending my vday at home with my new handheld vacuum and i swear OC na ako sa dumi. tipong makakakita lang ako ng little piece of dumi sa floor or bed or table i'd end up vacuuming it hardcore, iniisip ko - whats my life before my handheld vaccum. hahaha! i feel very clean and very sanitized.

then for post valentines hurrah i went out with my girlfriends and ended up at tagaytay - chateau hestia! chateau hestia is the bomb! it's so romantic there and the ambian is to die for.....na miss ko tuloy lalo si mike but then i'm with my girls so it's all good. the food is super yummy and awesome ang ambiance. =) all good.

had an awesome wednesday, other than it is one of my fave days because its the middle of the week and an indication that friday is just two sleep away! wednesdays are usually awesome!

yesterday, i was able experience one of the best spiritual bonding - it feels good and it feels right. happy, ibang level ng peacefulness and peace of mind....a good bonding experience. =)

counting the days until the 30th!

i found out that looks can be deceiving. and no matter how hard you try to reach out, be nice (i'm naturally nice) and be cool about things - shit will still happen. or i should say, you can't please everybody. still thankful to those people who tries to at least get to know me, those who reaches out even if it's hard, those who respects me and boundaries and those kind human being who knows their limitations. i can be your friend anytime. =)

today is my mom and dads 32nd wedding anniversary. wow! that's a lot of years of being together! and a lot of years of raising me and my big bro....hats off to my mom and dad - it's not easy to raise me and kuya plus deal with other things as well, but i can say that they did a good job and i'm proud of what we have become because of them. (good girl and good boy!)

my first blog for the year!

and yes i started 2009 with a bang! (hola 2009!)

back to work last january 5 - wow! time flies when you're having too much fun!

yes busy busy busy! (which is good)

2008 was really awesome, all good things, happy things, and im grateful for everything....indeed, God is really good. (thank you!)

looking forward to a much better 2009!

new years resolution

okay it's the time of year...new years resolution time! weee!

okay, determined to at least follow/do 90% of my new years resolution! hopefully!

1. spend less, save more! seryoso! since i did some room cleaning i discovered that i still have new bags na hindi ko pa nagagamit, sobrang dami kong bags (15 lacoste, 18 RL plus others) damit na once ko lang nasuot, lots of new shoes na di ko pa nasuot at dami kong new bikinis - exxag sa dami! next shopping should be on june 2009! no buying of unecessary stuffs!

2. work more, earn more! sana ma-promote ulet ako or bumaba ang dollars for my little biz, will sell more, hardcore look for more stocks, work hard! party hard once in a while....

3. lose weight and be more healthy! 10 more pounds and im okay! stop eating rice! be healthy! find time to exercise!

4. travel more! local and international! roadrips!

5. lomo more! sana may monthly lomo trips ako. go analog!

6. read more! i used to read a lot, i want it back!

7. meet more new awesome friends! friends is love.

8. continue to think positive! it really works! =)

9. stay happy and in love! lucky to be one....hopefully tuloy tuloy!

10. build a stronger spritual bond with God! need it!

11. more bonding with la familia....especially with my mommy!

12. enjoy life to the fullest! live and love!

13. more quality time with friends! lets go out of the country, and once a week quality time!

14. eat at all the restos listed at manila's best kept restaurant secrets! lets go friends! kain na tayo! ang saya!

year 2008....

year 2008....i would say....is a great year!

been to a lot of different/cool & awesome places: nurture spa @ tagaytay, hong kong, disneyland hong kong, lago de oro @ calatagan, batangas, boracay (and stayed at discovery shores boracay), zambales, subic, tagaytay, banio kreek, club manila east, novaliches, cebu (my first cebu trip ever!)

been to a lot of concerts: maroon 5, incubus, mandy moore, lifehouse, chris daughtry, eraserheads, sarah geronimo, third eye blind, chris brown and rihanna.

got new gadgets/cool stuffs: new 29" tv, dvd player, nokia n95, nokia 6300 (thank you b!) & nokia e71, awesome sigma lens for my slr, my first coach bag (from my own pocket! and bought one for mom t00!), gazillion jackets, 4gb but small usb, external flash for my slr, canon S5 IS, lots of analog cameras (like olympus xa1 & xa2, diana, lubitel etc.), new laptop - a macbook, & sony h-50 (thank you b!)

highlights of my 2008:

i was able to put up my own small business and it's successful! (thank god!)

i got promoted. got salary increase. new perks!

i was able to go my first political rally ever, interfaith rally @ ayala ave - 02/29/08

i was able to really practice my lomo skills, which is really happy and fulfilling.

i shouldered the cost of repainting our housey. wow!

will never forget our boracay trip. club paraw. our cebuano boys. hip hop music. blowjob. dsb.

my boracay trip is one of the best experience of 2008.

my b-day bash is one of the best, first time ko naitlog ever kahit 3 years na akong nag-bday with the boys, and its the start of GRGS!

i was able to go out of the country for the first time using my own savings/money!

my cebu trip is quite memorable because of the meet the parents/family/angkan factor, first time may parentals paalam from my bf, and it's my first time @ cebu!

zambales is awesome. bonding talaga. SSS! and its the start of something new....hahaha!

got good friends @ work! they are office mates that you can count on! the best sa HCI!

oktoberfest experience sealed a lot of things!

may LL factor ang 2008! (go LL!)

i was able to meet new friends: kassy, kwe, carlo, rod, darlene, jowam and others.

after three years, got myself a boyfriend (and a good one too!)

my driver. thank you virg for driving me everyday!

my friends for being awesome and for understanding me and loving me like family. thank you for being there!

i know it looks bad, but disaster talaga ang room ko!

but its better now, not that spic and span yet but getting there....

trying to get there....i still have to sort some stuffs,

get rid of unncessary junks and still ready for more surprises....

like.....meron pa pala akong new bags na hindi pa nagagamit! hahaha!

anyways, i'm tired but it's all worth it and i'll try to always

keep my room clean and in order sa 2009! (good luck!)

oh, and try to stop buying stuffs, i don't have space for it anymore!

hey hey hey! yes its almost christmas time in the city....a few more hours. and no work until next year! yes yes yo! so happy!

really looking forward to opening my gifts...i've got 3 big paper bags full of gifts plus a really big one from mike...i'm so excited! mom said a lot of people loves me because i'm a good girl, very mommy noh? but i must say, good girl naman talaga ako this year. =)

miki got me this really awesome belle de jour planner yesterday and it was so nice i can't wait to use it - to get my life more organized. hahahaha! not that it's not organized but it'll be a big help keeping track of stuffs, especially my expenses. =) joko and kas got me an awesome tripod for more camwhoring and i can't wait to use it.

so, i'm back to camwhoring and getting together with my friends and mike! bonded a lot before his cebu bound christmas and it's awesome. i'm gonna miss him a lot though, but christmas is really family time and i know that.

happy to be back with my friends.....i missed them. i miss hanging out. aaaawwwww...

I MISS YOU MY BLOG! (drama!)

very busy with random things, i'm still sick (cough and random colds) hence most of the time i'd rather stay home or go somewhere near and go home quite early. busy with the following:

1. work work work!
since year-end plus long vacation is coming kaya pamatay ang workload. (can't wait for friday or next week! ayoko na muna magwork for a looooonnnnggg ttttiimmmmee!)

2. film business
looking for suppliers who can supply cheap films and suppliers within philippines sana to save on shipping fees and time (time talaga!). also, since madaming bonus ever ang mga utaw sobrang dami ko ding film orders which is good but tiring but still good because i'm making money. =)

3. christmas shopping and wrapping
which despite my list ay hindi ko pa din matapos tapos. i swear! mike and i shopped last week and mind you we bought gifts for like 10 people lang but he's dead tired. so good luck to me because i think my list consists of 100 people. hahhaha!

4. relaxation
been sleeping a lot because of the weather, been going to spas and massage clinics for more relaxation and of course been eating a lot. hehehe!

5. dvd marathon
i'm done watching that 70's show and beginning with brothers and sisters....cool to see calista flockhart again - ally mcbeal stigma pa din ang attached to her. hahaha! but i'ts all good. randomly watching gossip girl and heroes! weeeee!!!!

promise by next week i'll be more available...konting tiis na lang. tapos na work! waaaah!

busybee! yes yes yo! super daming inaasikaso, with work, with stuffs sa bahay, bonding with la familia, business (inventory and all that jazz), christmas stuffs with mike, non-stop gift wrapping, getting addicted to that 70's show and hating the christmas traffic jam in the metro hence i'd rather stay at home than waste time sa traffic.

i think i mentioned once or twice how i love rico blanco's latest album - your universe....i swear i love it and it's like my lifehouse obsession a few months back, i have to listen to rico blancos album everyday (sometimes even twice a day!)

i love the following song from his album: your universe, ayuz, hindi ka mawala, antukin and helpless. actually gusto ko lahat but the 5 songs mentioned is my ultimate favorite!

anyways, i'm sick. have swollen tonsil, cough, colds and fever....hence kulong ako sa room for a few days meaning no work or any strenous activity. ang saya though kase lahat ng whining ko nasusunod. mwehehehhe!

hope to get well soon though, meron ng nakakamiss sa akin eh. hahaha! (you know who you are!)

last wednesday, he did the unexpected (can't believe he had the guts talaga! hehe!) and my mom agreed to the unexpected. they are both cool, love em to bits and pieces.

sobrang sudden ng lahat, i have to rush a lot of workloads and happenings in between.

so last friday, i had dinner with mike @ marina and then hang-out until matapos ang gary v concert ni kas and joko so that i can hang-out with them and meet joko's date as well. mabuti ng makilatis ang future BF ni LL. hehehe! (don't kill me joko!). in fairness, i like joko's date naman....rey is cute, funny, looks like he's a responsible man and he can dance! (shake, body body dancer!) my verdict? i would say: GO FOR IT JOKO!!

my saturday was spent packing my stuffs, fixing my business. shopping and sleeping a lot.

sunday: is tiring but awesome. went to moa with kassy, joko and kwe to eat white hat yougurt thingymajig that joko's been craving for quite sometime na, and then i gave joko and kassy their new lomo camera (para mahawa sila sa akin at mas maging madalas ang lomo expedition) and then we lomo-ed around moa! yippeeee!! thanks guys. that really made my day! super!!!

then after MOA we headed to fort for RIHANNA & CHRIS BROWN's concert! which is awesome! rihanna is soooo pretty and CB is sooooooooooo hot! love his 6-pack! can't get over the fact that i find him cute, lakas ng charisma! sobra! waaah!! kilig ang duet nila also. hmmmm....

monday: cebu bound! mike got me this really early flight, i was not able to get some sleep! literally walking zombie ako sa airport. scared that i might fall asleep sa boarding area! hahaha! hence, first agenda pagdating sa cebu ay matulog! hahaha! really enjoyed my short but really meaningful vacation! =) lots of firsts. super! =)
